This one covers from my entry door past the outdoor kitchen. It does take some wind, but I'm such a safety guy that if I see that wind an rain are moving in, the awning comes in and so do I. Lol. The only problem is like now, the afternoon sun hits for about 3 hours and the awning is really useless, without the adjustments. I do like the awning and I am tall, my class C and I fought all the time and I lost with some hits to the head. Good luck in your search!!
