As others have said, a lot depends on the state. Some states do not allow double pulls, period. States that do allow doubled have max overall length limits. There are several websites that show what types of pulls are allowed and to be on the safe side I would check first. It would be REALLY bad to get stopped halfway thru a state and have to unhook one trailer and leave it, not to mention the ticket!!! Better to check first!
