If I were picking up a new subscription today I'd think twice about it. But back in 2008 XM offered a lifetime subscription for $400. I picked up two(!) for both cars. Since then I've sold the cars, but for a small transfer fee I've been able to keep the lifetime subscriptions. One of the best decisions I ever made. I really love satellite radio and can't imagine my cars -- or RV -- without it.
