I, too leave the door locked. I like the idea with the sticker. I have one at mu house door, got it from the local fire department. I have to try to get another one for the motorhome!
I would be concerned that my rather big dog (a Rotti - Great Dane mix) would scare some people if they just would open an unlocked door.
