We took a 2.5 hour trip today to see the Freedom Elite 29FE in person and unfortunately it looks like this RV is off the list for us.
It's just so difficult to settle when you have your heart set on the Forester or Sunseeker.

Initially we were impressed with the FE, but on closer inspection discovered there was no outside shower (deal breaker with beach camping) and the main plumbing for the gray and black water drainage is exposed and positioned so low there is hardly any clearance from the road. One serious bump and you've lost the plumbing! They had a Four Winds beside the FE, and comparing the two side by side you can definitely see the differences with quality and build.

Looks like we're off to Iowa to pick up the Sunseeker with all the extras including auto levelers for the same price CW is selling the stripped down Freedom Elite for. Thank you all so much for your help and feedback!
