Voice rec works great, and is not hard to update with a laptop.
Was going to use the smartphones instead of a stand alone GPS, however, we have been too many places with no cell service that our car GPS has saved our behinds...

How did you jumper the camera to the gps and how did you run the wire? I assume you needed an adapter, what did you use and where did you purchase it?
