I know on US built vehicles you could remove the tray but for the life of me I could not find a catch/release for the Sprinter's tray. Owner/operator error! There were coins in the compartment in front of the 12 VDC outlet that kept the tray from closing. That mystery is solved and the case can be closed but thank you for that quick reply. Now on to getting the rig ready for Spring Break and the open road.
