Linda & I go on "body time." If we don't have a destination we just move on down the road until one of us has had enough. We eat, rest, sleep, walk the dogs, etc,. We go when the driver (me) awakens & is ready. Linda sleeps in & I leisurely make 4 hours or more before she gets up. We're retired too & try not to have too much "have-to-dos" on our list.
