3000 mile oil changes are a thing of the past unless I guess you drive up and down a dirt road, on a grade, hauling a trailer.... Most autos today have the "oil minder" that tells you based on computer generated info of your driving when to change the oil. We had a Honda Pilot (2006) that normally had us change the oil at around 6000 miles. As far as this Class A RV owner is concerned, I plan on getting the oil changed about every six months and let it go at that. Synthetic oil and a good quality oil filter. My RV service center uses K&N oil filters.
