Go by the recommendations found in the owners manual. Also just because synthetic oil may be used most all brands will state that just by using synthetic do not increase recommended oil change interval mileage.
IMHO unless your vehicle specifies using synthetic oil I think all the "will increase horsepower & fuel mileage " or " don't change oil as often" is hype & expensive. If you want to use it fine, just don't fall for the bs.
