I had in my Vegas the same analog thermostat that you have in your rv.
It is wildly inaccurate and I replaced it with the one pictured, also from Amazon.
It was simple and was a wire for wire replacement , took about 10 minutes to do.
I have also installed an additional 4"vent that SuperD shows in his thread, that alone makes a huge difference in airflow .
