My first year of RV was with a dolly. It turned out to be a nightmare especially in rainy weather getting the car up the ramp. I had to bring extra planks and as the I drive the straps stretched. After one year traveling about 11,000miles I returned home sold the dolly and set up to flat tow. Piece of cake to connect regardless of the weather. Best choice I could have made. It worked well for me!
