I had the same issue on my 2012 45LT. I noticed when I put the awning out and let it over rotate a bit at the end of the cycle it was difficult and very slow to retract. When I would put the awning out and stop a few inches before it was through then I didn't have a problem bringing it back in. I never took it back to the dealer because it was such a hassle.
