Use it for beer and sodas all the time. It won't come open while underway, but when you stop and open the kitchen door, the refer door will fly open and everything inside will come cascading out to attack your feet. Trust me, you don't have enough hands to catch it all. This brought about our policy of no glass bottles. Bought a baby lock at HoDep for the refer. Works to keep it closed.
