In hot weather it is hard on the outside frig, as there is little air movement in the small compartment. All residential frigs are designed to operate between 40 and 85 degrees. More or less ambient temp could cause compressor failure. That said ours seems to tolerate most anything, but it doesn't cool well on a 100 degree day in the full sun. Just be sure you have the inverter on when the coach is not plugged.
