Yesterday afternoon I wrapped up my first oil change in my 2017 ACE 29.4. This was the first time I've done that kind of work on a class A and all went well, although I soon discovered you've got to be pretty flexible to get to the oil intake port. I'll be ready next time with a better funnel!
My hang-up came after the change when I tried to reset the oil change indicator. I thought I was following all the directions in the owners manual, but I couldn't get past the fourth step. Directions said "1. Switch the ignition on. Do not start the engine. 2. Fully press the accelerator and brake peddles at the same time. 3. Keep the brake peddles and accelerator fully pressed, 4. After 3 seconds a message appears indicating the reset progress is underway.
This is where I got hung up. I had several icons lit on the dash, but no message.
Any Ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?
