"Best" is a subjective term. It's like asking what is the best motorhome for motorhome travel.

That being said, I loved the Lowrance IWay GPS: I think they had the best user interfaces, but Lowrance refused to keep up in the automotive market so they are gone.

I have 3 different Garmin Nuvis and I am generally happy with the way they perform so I purchased a Garmin RV660LMT for my ACE. I've only used it on 1 trip so far and I am underimpressed. Although it shows your speed and warns you when you are over the speed limit, there is no speed limit display. There is no "breadcrumb" option. Traveling I-4 from Tampa to Championsgate this past Sunday it routed me off I-4 onto US-27 and then to Ronald Regan Pwky when I could have just got off I-4 at Ronald Regan Pkwy.

That's my take.
