Compass battery drain.

2-3 weeks in storage and my 2016 Compass cab batteries would drain to little or no power to start. I wasn't satisfied with my Camping World dealer telling me this was normal for our very hot climate. They checked it and found no issue. The house batteries were fine, so I was able to start it up with the emergency start button.
On a whim, I decided to try the Ford dealer. They seemed puzzled at first telling me the batteries were bad. 1 year old, but possible I guess? A week later the dealer had the whole rig apart, unplugging everything and still a drain, tracing down every possible wire. They gave me new batteries and found a small short in the cab lights. Thank goodness it was under warranty. Can't imagine the cost of such a service?
