Ahh.... I'd expect not - as front wheel drive doesn't have a single driveshaft - instead a separate 'axle' through constant velocity (CV) joint to each front wheel... And no real room to allow for anything 'extra' in the middle on most vehicles.
It is intended for rear wheel drive as an alternative to manually disconnecting the driveshaft each time.
