Yeah, the Arizona desert is different than most other parts of the country.

For humidity control, might I suggest looking on Amazon? There are a lot of items for that, some small (for a storage box, say), some for gun safes or closets. But I also saw some for whole rooms. Some need power (plug n or battery) but others do not.
