Several people have used a pump but i decided to just use the 1 quart bottles. I taped a 1"x6" type water hose to a wide mouth funnel. The hose holds the funnel in place while i pour in the oil. Im not in a hurry so the little extra time to fill doesnt bother me.

And yes the first oil change is messy.
