It appears you have MUCH food for thought. We have a 2016 Axis 24.1 which we LOVE ! .. I like the shower..and have learned to use it..it is a nifty trick !
...I am 5'8" and not extremely slim ! ha !
Ron, on the other hand..5'10 and slim...only uses the shower when he must...ie, bad weather or dry camping.
He prefers to make the walk to campground showers ! He enjoys the walk and always finds someone to visit with on the round trip ! So there ya go.
As others have said...you have so many options...take your time...know that during the winter, there are many RV Shows in every region of the States...we have fun going, even tho we are not in the market for a new unit.
