That was my first thought, but to do that I would have had to take the door down; or thinking on it now, I could have used flatwashers under the screw head after I drilled the hole big enough to push the anchor thru. Hmm.

I also thought about using some construction adhesive between the 2 surfaces and installing the brackets. Didn't do either this time, but havent rolled the RV since then. I'll have to see how it fares after travel. (I'm currently living in the RV working away from home.)

Yep that would have been the correct way to do this work, AND the way my Aerospace training said, however, I didn't/couldn't take that time.
Now I have a harder task to do to clean the rollers.
