Skylight Replacement - Proper Sealant

Hi,

I hit some branches in the dark and it cracked my skylight pretty good. I called Thor got the part number and have the new one in hand.

I have viewed a couple of videos on replacing it and it looks pretty straightforward.

My question is, the video says to use Surebond SB-140. Is that any different than the Dicor Lap Sealant? And is there anything special needed for a TPO roof?

The Surebond product states it is for skylights though. Maybe it adheres better to the skylight? Mainly wondering if I should expend the effort to find the SB-140. Camping World has SR-140 made by someone else, but it is out of stock (gotta see if the store has any on the shelf yet).

Thanks for your thoughts on this.

This is one of the videos I was looking at: https://youtu.be/aYXFwCOT0Iw

Thanks, John
