Will using compressed air to clear the water lines leave a little, absolutely yes! There will not be enough in the lines to cause damage if it freezes. For freezing to cause damage the water has to be confined in such a way that it has nowhere to go when it expands. A line that has been blown out with air has plenty of dead space to expand and what little water that is left will not cause any damage.
