The cheapest deductible for glass I could get was $250.00
We had to have our windshield replaced last summer due to road debris punching a hole in it...thank goodness near the lower seal...we were in Tampa, headed home...were able to drive home....
Longer story short....we went through our Ins. and our deductible is $800...that is what we paid out of pocket..
Binswanger Glass, a national glass company...told us that windshield is about $3500 .... they also included, in their install...several chip repairs ...
With that said...you should contact your local glass repair to see if they can/will do the chip repair for you.
