Axis Chassis Battery Replacement

I was tired of the periodic problem of the chassis battery on our Axis going dead.... Just had it replaced with a maintenance free battery and added a trickle charger hook-up to it... The biggest issue was the access to the battery. Removed the work desk and then cut the access hole. We also had a hinge added for future maintenance issues. While the area was accessed I also had them lengthen the air ducts and flex tie them so they are well away from the battery. Read on the forum that someone actually had the metal in the air ducts contact the positive battery post and cause a fire. Something to check out on your rig. $$$$$$$
