Dry camping pre-trip planning

Hi as a newbie Having just been surprised on a recent trip that my RV reservation was a former cow pasture - I would like to suggest that anyone considering dry camping be sure to do a dry run at home. Here are a few things I experienced:
• When it’s pitch black you need a floodlight- not a flashlight!
• know how to manually level your RV if you have to.
• bring more leveling pads than you think you need & jack pads too.
• I suggest you camp in the RV on uneven ground the totally self contained.
Then you will have an idea if dry camping is for you.
