Yes, those tires heat up the underbelly. I made the mistake of putting my remote outdoor temperature sensor in the space behind the RF tire's mudflap and the entry stairs so it would always be in the shade. Trouble is, after driving on the highway that space will bet between 130 and 140 degrees and stay well above ambient for a while.
