We are planning a trip in our Vegas to drive Hiway 1 on California coast next Spring, probably starting about San Francisco and ending up in San Diego, then home to Western Colorado.

We would like to stay near horse racing tracks along the way and I have some from internet searches but wonder if anyone has any suggestions for tracks or route? Planning on staying a few days in each campground (no boondocking for us) and use motorcycle to catch different tracks and sights in their vinicity.
