Snake Oil, when I bought our RV the salesman sold us on a similar product that was suppose to protect the exterior and interior with a warranty for 5 years. Two years later the coach looked 10 plus years old with oxidation. Took it to the dealer and they did nothing and said I would have to call the company myself and they said I needed to get a quote from a licensed autobody repair shop and the girl on the phone had an attitude . I gave up and my son and I are buffing it out ourselves and adding a good sealer and wax. I like Griot's Garage line of products for use with a power buffer. I am also applying 303 Aircraft protectant to the top of the awning when it is retracted to help protect from UV. My detailer said he could do the RV for around $750 but I would rather do it myself. Good luck with what ever you choose. To answer your last question, the dealer charged me around a $1000.
