Fan on Converter?

Does anyone know if there is a cooling fan on the converter? I think it was on the converter. At our U shaped table this morning while having coffee and waiting for the torrential rains to stop a fan (I think kept trying to kick on) It seemed to come from below our fuse box and looked like a converter. We where on shore power and it kept kicking on and of and then stayed on for awhile. Any ideas? Its a Four Winds 23U. Thanks

I think the converter fan kicks on when there is a 12 volt load. I listened to it cycle on and off one night until I realized I had left the satellite dish on (runs on 12 v). I turned it off and the fan stopped.
