hello...have a thor hurricane 31j...2012...outside45..inside, therostat set at 75...back of coach has 1 vent in bed room,1 vent in bathroom,2 rite outside of bathroom...1 mystery vent on floor behind drivers seat. back of coach comfortable...front of coach...very cold....this floor vent in the front has a foil/board cover under the vent grate. furnace stays on maybe 5 minutes ...what is the floor vent for and should that cover be under the vent grate? 3/4 of the coach is very cold...very new at this rv thing thanks,,,MC

Did you buy MH new or used?

All I can say is try removing the vent cover, remove the foil
cover plate and try running the heat.

Could be the previous owner if that is the case did not like the
heat coming up behind the seat?

Phil...thanks for the reply...we bought it used..3900 miles..bought it 1and1/2 years ago. is like brand new..lots of stuff never been used or turned on..I will take that cover off from under the front floor vent and see what happens...thanks again MC

I just bought this coach and while driving the overhead bed comes down a few inches and gets all crooked, I see others talk about safety pins but I don't see anywhere on this model like the newer ones. How do I prevent this and what's the best way to get it sync back up??

OK so your does not have the safety pins the newer units have.
take a look (while bed is in the Up position and see if there is a
hole where a safety pin could be placed?

If no hole (this would be just below the bed on the outer lift arms)
see if you could drill a hole in each side through both inner and
outer lift arms so you could install said pin. The pin is metal and
about 1/8" diameter.

If you are uncomfortable doing this then go to your dealer or repair
shop and talk with them about doing the job.

I will have to look a little closer to see if I can something in there and if the track will accommodate a pin. Thanks for the suggestion
