Just got into this coach and the inverter has no reading on the display, meaning no power. Where do I start looking to see what's wrong?

What type of coach?

Did you verify the use/store switch is in the use position and the power button on the inverter is turned on?

That switch will only stay in the middle and not move to store or use. When I push it in either direction it goes back to the middle.

That is exactly how the switch is in our Axis? It is a momentary contact switch. When pressed to "Use" you hear the real relay switch over with a "clunk", any subsequent presses to "Use" are met with silence. Then if you press "Store" you also hear the "clunk" and subsequent presses to "Store" are silent (requiring a "Use" to switch it back on).

5qu1n7: Do you hear anything if you rock the use/store switch back and forth?

So if the house batteries are dead, is it possible the relay won't lock in?

The relay is powered (at least in my unit when I look at the circuit) by both batteries through a couple of diodes to keep the battery systems separate. Thus both batteries have to be dead before the relay won't work (I've verified this since I now have disconnects on both batteries).

Thanks for the replies... No fuse on the connection block between the battery and inverter...Back to service department.
