29M electrical confusion!!!

Newbie question:
I understand the batteries power the 12v items....lights, slide, usb plug.

But why don't my regular outlets work off the batteries? I thought that is what the inverter was for. Do I need to switch something over???

Did you read this in the specs for your coach?

"1,000w Inverter (wired to All TVs and outdoor refrigerator)"

I would think you would need at least an 1800 Watt inverter to wire it to the rest of the plugs (sans microwave).
