ACE Hot water heater - gas & electric?

We just got back from a nice 5 day camping trip and the first day, after plugging in the power, I flipped the switch for electric hot water. However, quite a few hours later there was no hot water so I turned off the electric and turned on the propane and soon I did have hot water. We have a ACE 29.3 (2016) and so I am wondering if the electric hot water works for anyone else? I am not sure if mine is hooked up to electric or not at this point. Thank you in advance.

Check to see if the main breaker has tripped or is turned off for winterizing ..or a fuse @ the hot water tank has blown

Bob -- no problem on my Vegas with the electric portion of the hot water heater. There should be a 15 Amp circuit breaker on your converter's electrical power distribution panel. Check and make sure it is on.

I checked the circuit breakers and they are all ok. I guess I will let the dealer figure it out. Thanks.

I lost elect to my water heater last year, 2015 ACE 29.3.

Dealer found wires disconnected inside cabinets near oven and sink. Turns out that they were too short and only wired nutted together, thus came apart. Dealer added about a foot of wire splice and all has been good.

My electric water heating did not work and found the wiring harness on the outside of the water heater compartment had become disconnected. Reconnecting fixed my issue.

Thanks, I did look inside the compartment but nothing appeared wrong...

Bob. We own a 2014 ACE. Have had problems with WH for years. Gas works flawlessly. The problem with the electric is intermittent. While on shore power it works whenever it wants. What's weird it always works while genny is running and when I hook up to 15 amps while parked in my yard. Would be great to know the fix.
