Axxera AV615BH

I just bought the 2017 thor outlaw 29H toyhauler..... comes with the Axxera AV615BH..... NO manual came with it. I searches on the internet and google did not even come up with that specific model. I chatted with a specialist at Crutchfield,,,, could not help me,,,,

Anyone has any idea???

I already had checked that site. And yet, i do not find my radio

We see the AV6115B.... But NOT the AV615BH...

Units are way different...

Simply call Thor technical/warranty department at 1-877-855-2867. They can email you the manuel. They have been very beneficial to me with a myriad of questions that come with buying a new unit. Tim Buss has been great!

I have a Thor Chateau 24F. Unable to hook up SIRIUSXM to AXXERA AV615BHM radio. It is not equipped for SIRIUS. You can get an ADD-ON but where do you put the antenna?

I took the cheap way out for the antenna. I put the antenna in the corner of the windshield on the driver's side. I then ran the wire along the edge of the dashboard on the left side and then above the instrument panel (there is enough room to tuck the wire in so you don't see it). I then ran it down to the Sirius radio that I have in the center console. I plugged the radio into the Aux port and then selected Aux In on the radio.

The only negative is that sometimes you lose the signal temporarily depending on the direction you are heading. That is why they say it should be mounted on the roof.

Maybe one of these days I will have it properly mounted but for now it works great the majority of the time.

We didn't receive a manual or a remote either. Contacted Camping World and they had Thor overnight the remote. For the manual they printed it from online.

The manual is vague at best and doesn't include instructions for all of the features performed by the Axxera system.

I found the manual for my radio worthless at best. I just sat down and started pushing buttons till I got it semi figured out. About the only thing I use my radio for now is just that, the radio. The resolution of the screen is poor and not well positioned to use for the camera function so I added an external 9" monitor. The radio is definitely NOT user friendly!

My 2017 Thor Freedom Elite 23H (picked up last week) came with the Axxera AV615BH radio which lasted a few days then died. I'm currently in the "replace it" phase but will have a Pioneer AVH-3800BHS unit installed instead. Better quality, better features, and has complete manual with it.

Bothered by no manual? Which is worse, no manual or an over-generalized Thor manual using the "One size fits all" approach as mine does, lumping it and several other coaches into one booklet. Wiring Diagrams? They "dodge that bullet" (and work/cost required for a quality manual) and instead deliver you cotton candy fluff, instead on useful technical info for YOUR purchase.

Axxera does NOT have a manual yet for that dvd receiver model. But, you can get their "quick start guide" in pdf format at this link. That's better than nothing.

Pete, I get the frustration. It bothers me as well that I don't have a manual specific to my model. But FYI, if you weren't aware, you can call Thor Customer Care and they'll email you a set of PDF's with your coach's wiring and plumbing diagrams. I got mine.
