batteries

Hi. I seem to have a problem. My new chassis and house batteries have been drained in just a few weeks of settling into my winter spot. The batteries drained this summer also, so these were new batteries--3 mo old. Someone said it may be a bad converter. Any thoughts? I appreciate any advice.

Is it plugged in when sitting in the spot? If plugged in do you leave the use/store switch in use or store? (Always when plugged in the switch should be in use.)

need a lot more 'info'....

- plugged into shore power?
- is the unit just in storage, with no power?
- are you living in the unit while this is happening?
- are any devices left 'on' ?
- have you used the cut-off or 12v 'Use/Store' switch?

etc

etc

I full time, so yes I am living in it. I 've never used the cut off switch. I have owned this rig for three years and this summer is the first that the batteries have drained. Haven't done anything different.

Yes plugged into shore power, that is why I didn't notice the batteries dying. Have always parked it and gone about my business.

Have you checked the water level in those batteries yet?

Sound like the batteries are junk now .... but you need to check your converter to make sure its charging Okay.... It might be boiling your batteries to death.
