Battery Disconnect Questions

Hello, newbie here.........

I have a 2022 Sequence 20L . The owners manual tells me that when I turn the main battery disconnect to OFF it will NOT solar charge the 2 house batteries. BUT when I do this the Solar Charge Controller is still showing a charge going into the house batteries AND it will eventually show a FULL charge.

So is the Charge Controller still charging when I turn the Main Battery Disconnect Switch to the OFF position ?? Thanks

The solar controller is connected directly to the batteries. It does keep the house battery(ies) charged so that you don't have to use shore power.

If you add a Trik-L-Start it’ll keep both the house and chassis batteries charged during storage. It allows the house batteries to charge the chassis battery but only does so when to former has a charge current (as from your solar system). I only have an 80W system and it’s doing a great job of keeping everything tipped up.
