Xantrex XM-1800 Inverter and WFCO "Dumb" Inverter

Why do I have two inverters? The Xantrex XM-1800 and the WFCO "dumb" inverter. The owner's manual for my 2016 Challenger is so generic it's hard to tell what I have! Any info would be appreciated.

You should have one inverter and one converter. The inverter for 12VDC to 120VAC and the converter for 110VAC to 12VDC.

The WFCO is a converter and not an inverter.

I have a 2016 33.5 and have the same set up. It appears the Xantrex inverter is wired in-line and runs even though it is turned off(can hear the fan running). So my question is; has anyone added a different charger to replace the WFCO charger? I've read reviews on the Xantrex TrueCharge2 and they seem pretty good, and since the inverter is a Xantrex, the two units appear to be be compatible, wiring wise!

I'm looking to provide more stable charging for my batteries and the Truecharge2 seems like a good solution for maintaining batteries over the long term!

Is there anybody out there that has added a better charger for their house batteries??
