Yes it turned on the check engine light. I’ve not read the code since I presume it’s the missing oxygen sensor. I also didn’t reset it because I thought it would go away on its own after a few driving cycles. It hasn’t yet so I may have to get out my code reader and figure out how to clear it.

Torque is a free android program.
You'll need a $12 obd2 Bluetooth dongle.
It clears codes and works as a digital set of guages for almost all ford inputs.
Does fuel mileage and map overlays also.
I have a dongle in each of our vehicles.

The dongles are not different enough to buy any but the cheapest.
They're all over eBay and Amazon as
Bluetooth obd2.
They are not vehicle specific and never need programming.
Take it from any obd2 car to any other obd2 car(some bmw problems) and it automatically connects to the vehicle and goes to your phone.

Killing check engine lights.
It's not unusual for me to clear cel's at a gathering when the subject comes up. I just pull the dongle from my truck and put it in theirs.

It's surprising how many people drive around with a cel shining.

https://www.amazon.com/Veepeak-Bluet...bd2+blu&sr=8-5

I own the units in the link and the $10 mestart units.
I have four or so and have given away 10 or more.
They'll work on laptops also but I've never found a reason to drag out the laptop.

"Bluetooth OBD2": Got it!
I've actually got a C.E.L. on in my Smart right now.
This would be a good test for it.

This would be a good test for it.
You'll be very happy with the purchase and the app.
You'll be a hero at the next gathering when someone says something about their cel.

Also
It links to webpages about the cel code it finds so you'll know whats really happening and it links to parts stores for the recommended part and shows the correct part number.

There's a picture in post 78 in my signature thread.

I use a 10 inch android tablet as a digital dashboard With a torque customized layout.
Post 254 shows the layout I use, but I make changes on occasion.

It sits comfortably in the instrument pod over top of my ford Speedo and lights.

Even after I’d done it a few times and knew exactly what it would sound like it still made me jump when it started!

Rev it up a bit, and you'll start getting addicted to the sound.

Somewhere in between stock and open actually would suit me fine. I learned we have 3 inch pipes and I expect there are some pretty sweet cat-back options.

I'd bet you could do the cat back exhaust with an aftermarket cat for less the OEM cat alone. There's a law that lets you do these types of mdifications without affecting the warranty.

Mines still there but the code won't come back unless I drive it. Idled for an hour and ran Forscan but I'm thinking O2 sensor is bad. No leaks and it's only has 12000 miles on it. Ordered a maf sensor and replaced dirty air filter for good measure. Code is p2098.

Other thief neatly took the dash apart, saved all of the scews and connections for me in the ashtray, broke nothing, gently unplugged the radio and left the cover plate on the dash for me.

By putting the cage on that cat, you're REALLY REALLY going to piss off a VANDAL.
You'll lose wiring and brake lines with a simple 2 second wild swing of a sawzall.
None of this matters if you have insurance. A missing cat or cut brake lines and radiator lower tank ...a claim is a claim.
Does a v10 have an aluminum oil pan?

Think twice,
Anyone with a sawzall probably isn't that nice hungry kid who saved scews for me.
Duck, please post parts list when you invent the cattle prod deterrent. I know you’ll work on it.

He's probably got a Bluetooth version that he controls xwith his mind...

My cousins raised cows... they just used a four foot length of 2x4 to persuade them.

Here in Central Ohio, thieves are hitting all of the storage lots. They can cut the converter out in less than two minutes, even in a Walmart parking lot. The CatClamp may not be perfect, but will certainly be a hefty deterrent. This should be a standard option for every owner.
Pretty good insurance for under $200.
Ours was stolen from our 2016 ACE 30.1 in Nov and we were lucky as that was all the damage they did. The ACE next to us was broken into and had additional damage besides the theft of the converter. Someone said their police dept. recommended engraving your VIN on the new converter then painting over it with high temp paint to make it stand out. Not sure if it will help but I think we are going to try it.
