Coleman New Softstart and Power Saver A/Cs

Softstart on air conditioners has been discussed various times, but I don’t recall whether information on new Coleman with factory Softstart has come up. Hopefully it’s not redundant information.

Coleman has new 13,500 BTU/hr Mach 10 NDQ (non-ducted quiet) that may be of interest to those looking at adding a new A/C to rear bedroom area, particularly if planning to power from +/- 2,000-Watt portable inverter generator at night.

The low profile A/C also appears to be a good match for van campers due to quieter design, and is nearly as efficient as the Power Saver models.

Speaking of Power Savers, I saw for first time current ratings for the relatively new 15,000 BTU/hr model. Efficiency is better than I expected given its size.

P.S. — Just sharing information — I have no association with Coleman.
