Although their website hasn’t been updated yet, it seems Coachmen is committed to the Cross Trek line but has recently taken it in a very different direction.

Initially they made a big deal of compact size, huge cargo garage, and generator free. Now they have developed a new “Rear Storage” design that can be added to back end of regular floor plans without need to elevate beds over a bike garage.

The new compartment in back is narrow and appears adequate to hang a couple of bikes from rear wheel. It should work for some, although I expect older owners with heavy electric bikes may find lifting them up there a challenge. I personally like elevated beds over a European bike garage even if I have to climb a couple of steps up to bed area. For others, steps may be an issue.

The other big change is that these now have an Onan 4 kW generator, although I think they still keep the 3,000-Watt inverter with large AGM battery. Not sure of details, nor interested enough to research since these new motorhomes are way too large for us.

I suppose that not having to work around the frame rails is a good idea...

Here’s how these garages look. In this model the motorhome has a rear corner bed with storage below which happens to connect to rear extension. Other floorplans probably only have the +/- 18” extension at rear as stand alone cargo area.
