Continuous WiFi

My husband and I are relatively new to motorhoming and have researched and asked other RVers what they do for WiFi service and found a whole spectrum of ideas and devices that either cost a small fortune up front and/or costly monthly plans & services. We plan to be on the road next year for 4-5 months at one time and will need good reliable WiFi other than using my iPhone personal hotspot. We need the WiFi for safe/protected laptop & streaming usage. What do you experienced folks have that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

If you have a newish Ace, you probably have a Winegard ConnecT wifi antenna. Set it up with a Verizon, ATT or whoever's plan you want and it will act as a roving 4G cell based hot spot.

With our current Verizon cell plan we can add the Winegard for another $10/mo. Then pick whichever data plan, ie the GBs that work for you.

Verizon may not be the cheapest, but the plan you select does need to provide you with a simcard that you plug into the Winegard.
