Enclosed and Heated Holding Tanks

I own an Omni 36RS 2022. I swear there was a button on the control panel to turn on the Enclosed and Heated Holding Tanks. I went to go turn them on today and I could not find the button to turn them on. Does anyone know how to turn them on or if there was an update that took the button off the panel?

On the FireFLy app, it is right below the water pump button. I'll look at my '20 SV34 to see where it is on my Panel but I believe it is also under the water pump button.

The Tank Heat switch is on the upper right of the panel on my ‘20 Magnitude SV34.

The option was there last time I went camping but now it is gone. Maybe it was an update or something got disconnected.

As far as I know the system does not update automatically. Try removing all 12V power by putting the Main Power (Use / Store) Switch in the Store position without Shore Power. Then move the switch to USE to reboot the system and see what happens.

You may need a firmware update or have an issue with your mainboard configuration.

This is why I’m glad I’ve got the old analog panel with buttons, switches, and lights.

I prefer technology. Yes... there can be issues and harder to troubleshoot / repair but technology also provides a lot of benefit. Access with an app provides a lot of flexibility and convenience.

I had an issue with my FireFly system early on but I also had issues with the analog panel on an old coach.

Kind of like loses and window cranks in a car. Things of the past. I actually have a key with my 2020 F150. My RV guy looked at it one day in amazement that it wasn’t push button start.

I will say the Push Button Start was a great addition. Being able to keep the "key" in your pocket has prevented a lot of people from locking their keys in the car.

Although it now means my wife and I need to have our own fobs because she keeps the fobs in her purse and every time I get in the one of the cars there's no key!

I keep the second Fob in the Fob holder and we use the key pad

The disadvantage is having to key in the code instead of using the sensor unless you have the second Fob

Didn't even know you could get an F150 without push button start
