Ford V-10 gurus, why does my intake look like this?

This is on the right bank, looking from the dog house. 2017 E450 branded as a 2018 Thor 28Z.

Does not appear to leak compression, or intake vacuum.

Why does it appear that a different intake manifold was used?

As I recall this has come up before but I don't remember the reason for it. It did turn out to be a non-issue, again trusting my memory again.

Ask your wife. I'm sure she'll tell you!

And to bring this one to a close. It appears that the PI(performance improved) head/manifold change may be the culprit. Talked to a buddy with a 2010 V10 in a Chateau MH has the exact same issue on the right bank head. Thanks for the laughs.
