Fresh water

Good evening everyone,

I have a city line connected to my Thor Vegas but my gauge shows empty and I turn off the city water, no running water in my rv?

I did have an issue before my first trip. I filled the non pressure fresh water and rv leaked everywhere.

Thank you I’m advance.

Hopefully you over filled the tank when you saw the leaks

If you're unit was frozen without winterizing you have major issues

You have to change the valves or valve at least to go from tank to city water

And run or not run your pump depending on choice

A few exceptions depending on the plumbing arrangement

Morning, I have a 2016 Vegas 24.1. Where are the water valve? It’s was all fine until I overfilled the non pressure fresh tank and water leaked out from ceiling and floor? Still summer so nothing frozen. Not sure why fresh water not filling up unless broken somewhere? Thanks

If you're hooked to City water, and haven't filled the tank: the gauge should be expected to read "empty".
Did you find the source of the water leaks after that first fill-up?
If they weren't addressed:

If you go to fill your fresh water tank and nothing goes in the tank but it leaks "from ceiling and floor" I suspect you have a problem with your fill hose to the tank, although how it would get to the ceiling is beyond comprehension.

If you have water from the ceiling I'm guessing you've connected the hose to the black tank flush line, overfilled the black tank & water is running out the black tank roof vent.
That's the only way you'd have water in the ceiling other than a heavy rain & a very bad roof leak.

Vegas 24.1 does not have a black tank flush line...

Then they have bad problems cause it won't have water lines running in the ceiling either.

Thor 24.1

Look under the passenger side bed. I have a 2017 that is where all the storage water lines and the fresh water tank located. That's also where the drain for that tank is located.
