Advice appreciated-

Our 2018 Challenger 37tb tailpipe "hangar" broke off, and the pipe is low to the ground.
There is a welded part on the pipe, with a metal rod that attached to a "shock absorbing" part above it.
That rod broke off.
I'm thinking I can have a shop weld something on to hold the pipe up.
I don't really want to go to Ford for this as warranty work, as we are full-timing, and can't give up the rv.
Has anyone used mobile repair companies, or can anyone suggest a particular type of repair shop?
Thank you.
Terry Sawchuk

That would seem like an easy fix for any muffler shop.
Good luck!

You can also go to any of the Big Box hardware Stores and get a small roll of "Metal Strapping" (google "Metal Strapping" for picture). This is "pre drilled" cut your length and re attach to the rubber strap. 15 min permanent fix for under $10.00.

I second the strap from the big box store. Had to do the same thing to the generator exhaust on my Hurricane last summer. A couple of bucks, 10 minutes and it's fixed.

Always called that metal strap "plumbers tape".
The flexible soft steel strap with holes about every inch.
