Speaker above the sofa.

I have a 2017 Thor Freedom Elite 29FE Class C. I cannot get the two speakers above the jackknife sofa to work. Can anyone provide any guidance on when theirs function. With cab radio? With TV / DVD? With bedroom radio? Any suggestions?

On ours, those speakers are controlled by the Jensen house radio. You can select speakers, A(the two speaker above the sofa) B( speakers in the bedroom) or C (the outside speaker), in any combination. What comes out of those speakers is controlled by what you are inputting into that Jensen, radio, CD, TV or????

My speakers are hooked to the radio in the dash. Adjusting the balance between front and rear allows the speakers to be heard. I have a 28Z Class C and I would think that they both are the same.
The bedroom radio controls the speakers in the bedroom and the outside speakers. Sort of backwards to me, but.....
Just my $.02 worth.

When I adjust the dash electronic to the rear I get no sound at all. I thought that is where they should be. In the walk through when I pointed this out the person said he would find out. After the walk through was finished he came into the sales waiting room and stated they were connected to the DVD which was not started up and I thought he would not tell me an outright lie but I guess he did. I have tried many way to get them to play but so far no luck.

Have same unit as you. Dash radio controls speakers over sofa.

So much for any semblance of standardization.

Just to update, finally took it to CW which is a last resort. They fixed a few minor issues and state they have "ordered new speakers". We shall see. They are sooooo unreliable.

have the same problem with a brand new 2018 freedom elite FE30. Front speakers are controlled by the dash radio. Both speakers currently on order through camping world (warranty). Am actually inclined to fix it myself.
