How many deep cell batteries in Hurricane 29D

Just purchased a 2004 Thor Hurricane 29D. Haven't taken possession as yet but already have "burning" questions... Read on line that owners talk of having 4 to 6 deep cell batteries. Want to know if there is a place already designated to accommodate these batteries or must someone have the wiring and space created just for that purpose. We like to dry camp and I'm trying to figure out ahead of time if we need to make structural changes to accomplish this. Also I have become aware that an RV queen isn't a "queen" bed, usually 5 to 6 inches short in the length. My husband is over 6' and we need a regular length bed. I have a friend coming to take a look who is capable of making changes for us, but wonder how successful others have been in altering the wooden support structure for the mattress, and in replacing the mattress itself. Is one of the thicker ones too thick and heavy to lift the bottom of the bed to access storage area? Will appreciate any help and suggestions from those who have tackled these problems. Thanks ahead of time !!
